TERMS AND CONDITIONS
· The following is an agreement and does not form a contract of any duration beyond the period that we have your permission to market you.
· If, at any stage, you choose for Panoramic productions t/a Xtreme Characters to stop marketing you, you must notify us in writing.
· Joining XTREME CHARACTERS is not a guarantee of work, however we will endeavour to do everything possible to market your portfolio.
· A registration fee of R150. R50 of this is payable on registration, the balance of R100 will be taken from the payment of your first job.
· An annual update is required. Please note that if you do not update your profile, we will be unable to continue marketing you.
· Model payment takes place after the Client has paid XTREME CHARACTERS. This is usually 30 to 90 days from date of invoice. Payment will take place electronically on the 2nd and 4th Friday of each month. Please ensure that we have valid banking details, all banking details should be filled out on the registration form, faxed or emailed through. Banking details will not be accepted telephonically or via SMS.
· Any applicable taxes will be deducted from your earnings, along with agency commission. On request, you will be supplied with a copy of your IRP5 certificate at the financial year-end (February). Please ensure that all details are current and accurate for IRP5 submissions, as incorrect info can result in penalties from SARS.
· Agency commission is on a sliding scale of 20-30% depending on what the specific job. Lower paying jobs would be charged at the lower rate, while jobs paying over R1000 move onto the higher scale, this is to ensure better take home pay for background extras jobs and children.
· Once committing yourself to doing a performance, and failing to fulfil your obligation, we reserve the right to terminate this agreement without notice.
· Models may not, under any circumstances contact or negotiate with the client directly. Please note that you MUST NOT sign any contracts or release forms on set. You MUST sign in at the beginning of each shoot and sign out at the end of each shoot, make sure that the time is filled in as this proof that you were there and is used to calculate overtime if applicable.
· If your appearance or contact details change it is YOUR responsibility to notify us. We have no way of reaching you if you fail to do so, and may cease to market you if we cannot contact you repeatedly.
· We require childrens' height to be updated MONTHLY, shoe and clothing sizes as they change via fax, email or sms!
· We require a copy of a birth certificate or passport for all children aged 15 and younger. We will not be able to market any child if we do not have this documentation.
· We REQUIRE a copy of your ID for all persons aged 16 and over.
· We can only market people who are in possession of a valid SARS tax number.
· If you are a non-South African citizen, we require a copy of your passport, work permit and/or asylum documentation.
· Our office hours are 8:30am-5:00pm Monday – Friday. After hours cell numbers are for emergencies. If wanting to check on the progress of a payment or set an appointment for an update please call the landline during office hours.

· WORKING HOURS: When agreeing to take part in a production, you agree to the following standard working hours, unless otherwise stated:
ADULTS aged 16+
Commercial – Full day – 11 hours
Feature film – Full day – 12 hours
Stills – Full day – 11 hours
Stills – Half day – 5 .5hours
Adults may be required to work up to 3 hours of overtime, following that overtime is voluntary. Overtime is paid at 10% per hour of the day rate.
CHILDREN
0-4 years – Full day - MAXIMUM 6 hours on set
0-4 years – Half day – 3 hours
5-10 years – Full day - MAXIMUM 8 hours on set
5-10 years – Half day – 4 hours
11-15 years – Full day - MAXIMUM 10 hours on set
11-15 years – Half day – 5 hours
NO CHILD MAY BE REQUIRED TO WORK OVERTIME ON A FULL DAY as per the Department of Labour regulations!
